Online training course coming soon! Check back for updates…

In this two-day, online workshop, you will learn chairwork procedures that will enhance your work with individuals with eating disorders and which can be easily integrated into treatments such as CBT-ED, MANTRA, CAT, motivational interviewing, and compassion-focused therapy. These will include methods for:

…Developing your formulation / case conceptualisation

…Enhancing motivation to change

…Targeting disordered eating (e.g., binge-eating)

…Improving body image

…Addressing other difficulties linked to eating difficulties (e.g., low self-esteem and emotional dysregulation)

The workshop will be highly interactive and experiential. You will have the opportunity to participate in chairwork, observe live demonstrations, and practice using these methods in a safe and supportive environment. Time will also be dedicated to exploring common blocks during chairwork and how to adapt these methods in online therapy.

Tickets are available via Eventbrite: https://edchairwork.eventbrite.co.uk

Please note that this workshop will be recorded and be made available for purchase after the event.

Feedback from our past events:

“A wonderful three days of training… Brilliantly planned, organised and delivered, and really comprehensive and engaging… Watching the demonstrations was incredibly helpful and inspiring and a real privilege… Thank you for your wisdom and inspiration.”

“I have done a lot of online training courses over the last 2 years and this was absolutely the best I have experienced… Outstanding, clear, authentic, sensitively delivered, and accessible… I’ve done [named training course] but this absolutely took things to another level in terms of theory and practice.”

“An incredibly helpful and innovative training on how to use chairwork… I was clinically on fire with my clients today, doing the deep work that chairwork evokes and borrowing with pride many of the innovations that were shared.”
